Paste a photo into text.

Start a new file with a transparent
background and select the TEXT tool to create your text. You will
probably want a large bold font for this. |

Open the file you want to fill your
text with. Select a portion of it with the SQUARE MARQEE tool. Hit
CTRL C to copy the image. |

Choose the magic wand tool and
select the text you want to paste into. Choose EDIT>PASTE INTO You
can now choose the MOVE TOOL and use it to move your image around inside
the text. |

Click on the black mask icon and
drag it to the trash can, click on apply. |

Click the F layer to make sure it
is active and check the PRESERVE TRANSPARENCY box at the upper left of
the layers palette.
Choose the color you want to use to
outline your text. Choose EDIT>STROKE WIDTH 3, LOCATION CENTER and
click ok. |
