The Sable Malamute Gardener

The Alaskan Malamute is a working dog. They are often trained as pack dogs, sled dogs and weight pullers. With no snow in Houston, Malamutes often need to find other hobbies. Munch seems to have a natural instinct for gardening. Munch opened and spread 6 bags of mulch and 2 bags of bark nuggets, all I had to do was rake a little. The plants were another story, we didn't always agree on where they should go. Did I mention that Malamutes are stubborn? She put up a fight, but I got my fern back! Munch spends more time in the yard than I do so she gets to make the decisions on the shrub trimming.
